Materials List: • graphite pencil: wood or mechanical HB in brand of your preference (ie. Turquoise, Staedtler, Berol) • good pencil sharpener • kneaded eraser and white plastic erasers • tracing paper: 9" x 12" pad or roll of Bumwad • sketch pad: 9" x 12" or larger • view finder (commercial brand OR 2 - 6 inch "L"-shapes cut from white mat board) • value scale (commercial OR the scale made in Pencil II) • goniometer (angle finder) • 6” clear ruler • hand lens or magnifying glass, reducing lens (optional)

• Since you will be working in the medium of your choice (colored pencil, watercolor, or transparent acrylics) , please plan on bringing all your art supplies and substrate to classes 2-5.
