Students will do online research, through our district database, to collect information on events from the standard above. Students will then create articles that describes what happened during events from the standard. After students have turned in their drafts, I will review them for mechanical or content errors. After any errors have been resolved, we will then post the articles online, on our website that is hosted by SNO.com. students will then have the opportunity to look and learn from their peers on other events of the Revolutionary War. What technologies would be required to implement this proposed learning activity in a classroom? Technologies that would be required include computers/tablets with internet access. A word processor, such as Microsoft Word, would be needed to create notes and preliminary works. Describe how the following features are addressed in this learning experience (note: all of them may not be addressed in the project, but most should be if you are reaching a high LoTi Level). a. If there is an objection from a parent for a student to use the site, I, the teacher, can post the student’s article. Reflective Practice: I feel this lesson plan is a good summative assessment to assess the student’s learning. I would also hope to, in the future, find a website that costs less and is more functional.
