Preparatory Activities ( 15 minutes) 1.Teacher brings in three face masks representing the characters in the story. 2. Teacher flashes the short dialogue on the screen.

Face masks

Pupils read the dialogue silently.

LCD Projector

To arouse pupils’ interest in learning.

3.Teacher asks three volunteers to wear the 3 different masks and role play the dialogue.

Three pupils volunteer and wear the masks.

4.Teacher invites another two groups to role play

The pupils role play the dialogue using their talents.

To enable pupils to show their talents.

Main Activities (40 minutes)

1. Concertina on the characters of the story

To enable pupils to work cooperatively

Teacher divides pupils into groups of six.

Pupils get into groups.
