REPAIRS Repairs Fixing the problem in a timely and professional manner ZigZag undertakes ongoing property repairs which fall between the area of maintenance and refurbishment. We aim to attend site within three working days, however we do not undertake emergency service works or operate an out of hours service. Repair works usually relate to specific areas of a property where an upgrade is required or damage has occurred. These can include: • Burst or leaking pipes • Plaster cracks • Carpentry • Retiling • Electrical • Single glazing As a matter of cause we comply with latest Health & Safety regulations and insure the least possible disruption to the occupier. We may deem it suitable to seal a particular area whilst repairs are undertaken. Procedures that help us to comply with Health and Safety regulations and ensure the least possible disruption will also be discussed with the occupier. When repairing damaged areas we always keep the client informed of the time necessary to order and deliver matching materials and fixtures (i.e. wood flooring and wallpaper). We also understand that such repairs require quick progress, so where drying times need to be taken into consideration, we communicate all of this information fully with the client/tenant as well. All manufacturers guarantees are passed on at settlement of invoice to give the client complete peace of mind.

MAINTANANCE Maintanance Attending to every detail Our maintenance department provides clients with complete peace of mind that their properties are safe and are being well looked after. Some of the services we provide: • NICEIC Electrical certifications, • Gas Safety Register certifications • Sash Window Servicing • External weather proofing • Plumbing • Brickwork • Flat Roofing Typically we attend site within three working days of receiving an order. Access and site details are always checked to ensure that the right operative can attend and gain entry. All our operatives carry photo identification badges and will be wearing Zigzag markd workwear. If any necessary alterations or additions to works are required, the client is informed immediately, and we will provide an update on costing. Call out rates include the first half hour of labour and are charged hourly thereafter. Materials, parking or other charges are invoiced accordingly at the conclusion of works. On repeat works such as landlord certifications, we are able to offer a reminder service, giving our clients complete peace of mind that their properties are always well maintained.

REFURBISHMENT Refurbishment A professional service you can rely on Our refurbishment works range from single room decorations to entire home makeovers. We are frequently asked to strip out old properties and modernise them throughout. This usually involves a new layout or floorplan to make the most of the available space. We also update properties cosmetically using modern designs and making the best use of light, to create the client’s desired environment. Planning is essential, and we assist with all requests, from choosing paint colours and tiles to producing computer generated kitchen and bathroom layouts. We always give a realistic start date and completion time frame for a project. We coordinate all the trades involved and are often asked by clients to work closely with their interior designers, architects or surveyors to ensure that we achieve the exact finish required for a property. We keep the client informed at all stages of a project as a natural part of our service and arrange regular site meetings as works progress. If during works we identify any complications, a detailed photographic report is provided at the earliest opportunity to all relevant parties. On completion of a project, we keep accurate records of all materials and finishes used in case additional works are required in the future, thereby insuring complete customer satisfaction. 1) Modify existing plans When we take on a refurbishment, we create a plan of the room to be modified. This plan is then ammended and altered until both ZigZag and the customer are fully satisfied. We then go to our suppliers and order all the necessary materials 2) Create 3D views We work very closely with our suppliers making sure that we provide the best service possible. Part of the process involves creating 3D views of the room. This allows the customer to get a better feel for how the room will look when finished. 3) 3) Carry out work With both 3D and plan views at hand the customer can relax as their refurbishment quickly begins to take shape. All our tradesmen are specialists in their fields ensuring a high quality finish to all projects.

GUARANTEE Our Guarantee Complete peace of mind ZigZag are commited to providing a high quality service and premium customer care. For this reason, we provide full 12 month guarantees on all our works. About 50% of our new business comes from customer recommendations, and we are continually undertaking new projects for returning customers, therefore your guarantee of excellent service and workmanship comes from our ongoing determination to maintain and grow our reputation. All materials and products are sourced from British Standards Manufacturers only and are covered by full manufacturers warrantees which are passed to clients upon settlement of invoice. Labour is backed by our own guarantee of workmanship. In the unlikely event of any defects arising within the first 12 months after a project is completed, we will rectify any issues identified at the customer’s earliest possible convenience. Issues which arise outside the company’s standard guarantee period may also be rectified free of charge, or at a partial charge, at the company’s discretion depending upon circumstances. Maunfacturers faults are usually resolved directly with the maker’s own schemes. The ZigZag guarantee is valid for 12 months from the date a project is completed subject to adherance to our terms and conditions, as printed on the back of our invoices.

THE ZIGZAG PROCESS The ZigZag Process From enquiry to your door within 48 Hours Whether it be a small superficial repair or a whole property refurbishment, you can be sure ZigZag will deal with your enquiry promptly and provide you with a detailed quote as quickly as possible. Quotes are emailed to clients within 48 hours of a site visit and comprise a detailed report itemising all required works. Digital photography is included, which is especially helpful if clients are unable to visit the property or if we are being instructed by a managing agent. We aim to commence a project at the earliest opportunity to suit the client.
