• Yuri Pimenov was born in Moscow, Russia in 1903. • He died in Moscow in 1977.
Education • From 1920 to 1925 Yuri studied under S.V. Malyutin and V.A.Favorskyiy. • He went to Higher State Artistic and Technical Workshops.
Job • He was one of the founders of the Society of Easel Painters. • He stayed there from 1925 to 1932.
Art work • He created three paintings that I know of. • War Invalids in 1926 • Heavy Industry in 1927 • And New Moscow in 1937

Late life • Pimenov didn’t just Easel paint; he also as a theatrical director. • From the end of WWII in 1945 to 1972 he worked at the Institute of Cinematography.
