It does not matter if this is done in person or via the Internet, it is still a hate crime. Your ISP will be contacted and your identity and location determined. If we abide racism and hate in the guise of "free speech", are we not as guilty as the racists and hate mongers? Must we always fall back to the "do nothing" position? I'm sure that's a very efficient use of the Fed's time, and our tax-money. On the other hand... if 'Yosemite_Sam' is really an anti attempting to make gun owners look bad, I would take great pleasure knowing that they were brought up on federal charges, were convicted, and lost their right to vote! But, seriously now... If LEOs are not required to assure our individual safety (per SCOTUS), it doesn't seem very balanced to utilize them to protect us from having our feelings hurt. That's kinda ridiculous. I guess some people just have a thinner skin (regardless of color)... Trolls get to everybody, hell we've even got one that thinks he's cute because he parodied my screen-name and likes to post garbage. I've got no use for trolls, and wish that they'd all go back to playing their Playstations... But getting all bent out of shape because you take some random, immature insult personally is a likely indication that you cannot emotionally handle being on the internet, without personally censoring the material which you allow yourself to view. Realistically, very few things on the internet (including this site) have enough credibility to be considered more than just a source of entertainment. If you are not entertained here, move on. Don't take my advice above to mean that I condone the rude, obnoxious, embarrassing, and offensive material which pours into and out of this site on a daily basis.
