Project Proposal: Yoco software Background DuHope Ltd has been relying on Square software to track its inventory and manual record keeping to track and report about sales. Yoco software is a sales software that helps businesses track their sales, provides stock report, alert about stock level and supports in decision making regarding which products are selling best and the ones that are selling least. With the use of Yoco software in DuHope, sales will be recorded electronically thus providing easy tracking of sales as well inventory count. Objectives ● To record sales on a daily basis ● To know how much inventory is left on a weekly basis ● To rely on the weekly sales report to know which products to produce more of and which ones to produce less of. ● To centralize record keeping of DuHope products. Scope The Yoco software is expected to be first tested in the Christmas Bazaar organized by Rwanda Events that is set to happen from December 23 to December 28 this year at Kigali Convention Center. The software will be used during the event to record sales on a daily basis so that by the end of the event we can evaluate how useful the software was. After testing the software, in January it will be modified to fit The Shop’s inventory so that the salesperson at The Shop can move from manual record keeping of sales to electronic recording. The software will be used at The Shop for two months (January and February) for recording DuHope products. From March, DuHope staff will decide its feasibility and customize it for The Shop to use it for the other partners (More than Sparrows and Umucyo). Timeframe

Key Stakeholders DuHope and The Shop.
Monitoring and Evaluation Yoco software is being adopted so that sales and inventory can be electronically managed. During the testing phase, the effectiveness of the software will be evaluated by the sales and marketing associate for DuHope. The report on the performance of the software will then be submitted to the project manager to evaluate how efficient and effective the software is after each phase.
