ABOUT US The WKRA represents the area bounded by Bloor Street to the north: Mimico Creek and Royal York Road to the east: Kipling to the west and H.E.P.C. hydro line (below Norseman) and Titan Road to the south. • The West Kingsway Ratepayers’ Association was constituted in November 1950. •

The Association was incorporated in 2003.

The WKRA… • Is a not-for-profit organization •



Provides the residents of the area with the means, as a group, to promote discussion and exchange of information regarding matters of interest in municipal and other governmental affairs affecting the area.

2010 MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

Creating community with the WKRA The WKRA is always looking for new members. If you know of any people in the area who would like to join, please pass on our information. Also, we are looking for members who would like to offer some time to the community, whether it be a couple of hours or a more regular commitment, we would be delighted to have you take part in WKRA activities. In order for our events to be successful, we need to spread the word to our neighbours. We are also seeking members who could help in advertising and flyer delivery. If you have an interest that we haven’t mentioned and you would be willing to take on a project with our support, please send us an email with your idea.

Annual Household Membership $10  FREE

Gives support, when appropriate, to matters intended for betterment of not only our area, but also Ward 5 and Etobicoke.

Organizes meetings to inform residents of upcoming changes in the area.



Organizes community events to create a more socially dynamic neighbourhood. Events may include a summer picnic, speaking events, social groups, fitness groups, eco-friendly activities and more.

Working together, we can make this neighbourhood a great one!!

Seeks membership in the area and volunteers within the membership to help organize activities and aid in the further growth of the WKRA.
