Philosophy of Education I personally got into teaching because I enjoy working with students to help them improve on what they already know and help them reach goals they have set for themselves. I became interested in teaching because of coaching football and track while I was still in college. I enjoyed seeing my athletes improve and succeed, and I wished I could do that on a more permanent bases. Coaching is what lead me into teaching, because they are very similar things.
Technology Lessons Animoto: Students will use the video program known as Animoto to make a 30 second video that gives a brief background or explanation of a mathematical topic or program. Glogster: Using an online video from YouTube or some other site, students will create a poster that describes what they learned in the video they watched. Students are able to pick their own video to watch, so that it is something that they will be interested in. Google Calendar: This is a calendar I have posted on my website. This calendar has all the important dates that students in my class will need to know. It also lists what each nights homework assignment is, in case a student forgets to write it down in class.
