MONDAY : 6TH APRIL 2009 PRESENTATIONS 1. Introduction; (15 min) Teacher asks if pupils know about 24-hour clock. Example:- 1300hrs i) How do we convert 12-hour clock to 24-hour clock vice versa. ii) How do we address 24-hour clock. 2. Lesson Activities; (40 min) Individual activity:Teacher will explain how to convert 12-hour clock to 24-hour clock. Pupils will soon learn that there are 2 ways to convert 24-hour clock. - Teacher will show the 2 different ways to convert: 1. By adding 12 hours to the PM time or subtracting 12 hours from Hours that is more than 12. 2. By using 2 clock face, one with 1-12 and one with 13-24. - Teacher will ask the pupils to draw using Activ Studio two clock face showing 12 and 24 hours. 3. Conclusion (5 min): Teacher summarises the lesson.
