TOPICS/CONTENTS COLLECTION (HOBBY) Skill: Listening, reading, speaking, writing. Vocabulary: collect, collection, stamp, alphabetical, favourite. Structures: the simple present tense. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson pupils will be able to; a) Practise using new vocabulary related to collections. b) Practice using alphabetical order.

MONDAY : 16TH MARCH 2009 PRESENTATIONS 1. Introduction; (5 min) - Teacher tells the pupils that a hobby is something that people enjoy doing in their spare time. And gives some examples. 2. Lesson Activities; (20 min) - Then ask if the pupils have a hobby. - Teacher then asks pupils if there is anyone that enjoys collecting as their hobby. - Teacher talks and asks about the pupil’s collection. Pairing activity:- Teacher will ask the pupils to create a table with two columns for each of them, and list the different types of collection that they can think of and type it under their column. 3. Conclusion (5 min): Teacher shares the pupils’ findings with the whole class.
