Landfill restoration

Dump restoration works were completed in mid 2007. Environmental inspections and risk assessment studies for more than 200 sites were conducted and also technical studies for all high risk dumps. Funding was provided by the EU for restoration works in 40 sites,

Restoration works for all high-risk dumps have been completed in mid2007. Total cost have reached € 9m.

The Mechanical and Biological Treatment

DIADYMA SA is moving towards the construction of infrastructures for waste treatment and development.

The MTP has a capacity of 150.000 tones, and it will maximize the recovery of recyclables, doubling the landfills’ lifecycle.

Integrated Waste Management in W. Macedonia through Private-Public Partnership (PPP) Development Program of THESEUS

28/11/2006 Contract sign with the Advisor to support DIADYMA in means of PPP for Integrated Waste Management System (IWMS) Budget 225,000 € Four scenarios

Integrated Waste Management in W. Macedonia through Private-Public Partnership (PPP)

In cooperation with the Special Secretariat for PPPs, DIADYMA SA deposited a complete file to the Ministry of Economy in March 2007, taking a decisive step towards the implementation of the first Integrated Regional Waste Management System in Greece through the process of Public Private Partnership.
