February 27, 2019 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE THE IOWA STEAM ANNOUNCE THEIR TEAM ROSTER On February 27, 2019, Hannah Braet released the names of players who will play for the WNBA’s newest team, Iowa Steam. The players were recently chosen in a supplemental draft in Des Moines set up by the league offices to fill the expansion team’s roster. Key players selected were Forward Logan Cook, Guard Kathleen Doyle, and Center Paula Valino Ramos. The team will begin playing this season at Dorito Stadium in Des Moines, IA. The Steam team and their new players will take on the Los Angeles Sparks on October 2, at 7 p.m., to begin their inaugural season. ###
