To make a call to anyone on the district campus, simply dial their 4 digit extension. Please see the phone extension list for assistance. To dial an outside call, dial 9 and then your party’s telephone number. Note - most phones allow only local, 911, or toll free calling. To transfer a call, press the flash button and enter the 4 digit extension. If you are calling the district from the 652 or 928 exchanges, please use the toll free number (800) 303-7125.

For the safety of the students and staff, NBC doesn’t accept “private” or “blocked” calls. If you have your phone number “blocked” so your number doesn’t display calls in caller ID units, you need to do the following before calling NBC. You will need to enter a code (provided by your local phone company) which will release the delivery of your phone number for one call only. When dialing to a blocked phone call from the school, you will need to hit 9 for the outside line, then *82 and dial the number. Then our information will be released to allow our phone call to go thru to them. You can modify the buttons on your phones to any numbers that you dial frequently. Follow these steps to change/modify the buttons on your analog phone: 1. Remove the plastic inlay from your phone 2. Pick up the handset 3. Use a pen/pencil and press and hold the recessed button on the left (above the “H/S Volume” button) until the intercom tone stops and it is silent 4. Press one of the ten programmable buttons on the phone (preferably one not already in use) 5. Dial the digits desired on the dial pad (can be any feature code or extension number) 6. The feature codes can be found in books located in your principals’ offices. 7. Use the pencil and press and hold the same recessed button until you hear a tone 8. Hang up the handset and replace the plastic in-lay 9. You can now pick up the handset and touch the button you programmed to verify its operation.
