DISTANCE, OVERCURRENT AND EARTH FAULT PROTECTION The digital protection device UTXvZ is a distance protection relay designed to protect high voltage overhead lines and cables working with an earthed neutral point. It provides fast, selective and reliable switching off of the high-voltage line if any kind of fault occurs, whether in between the phases or earth fault. The basis for the reliable operation is a fast and precise measurement of the loop impedance and the simultaneous calculation of the fault location. The device is equipped with 16- or 14-bit A/D-converters and different communication interfaces: RS-232, RS-485 according to the IEC 870-5-103 standard, optical waveguide and/or TCP/IP.

DIFFERENTIAL CURRENT POWER TRANSFORMER PROTECTION ZTR 5 ZTR 5 is a fully microprocessor controlled differential protection device for power transformers with 2, 3 or 4 windings. It is an integrated universal digital protection relay containing program modules which permit to adjust the protection functions flexibly. It ensures protection against phase-to-phase short-circuits and earth faults through a current-differential stage with fully programmable stabilizing characteristics. Additionally second and fifth harmonic detectors can be used to inhibit and to block the current-differential stage. By means of the fully digital information processing ZTR 5 permits to enter the parameters of the transformer as well as to calibrate the current transformers within the protection device on the level of program configuration. The protection device ZTR 5 typically contains independent field terminals which make up the transformer’s synoptic panel from both the HV and MV sides combined with a graphic display, a remote control possibility and local control of all switches ( recloser, earth switch, disconnector). The device is also equipped with diagnostic functions as well as universal, freely programmable functions, which makes it possible to adapt them to non-standard requirements. ZTR 5 fulfills also a function of distributed telemechanics, which enables

remote control, readout of measured values and binary inputs as well as the status of the protection device. As a standard, every device owns an events and faults journal. The device has a clear customer’s interface, which consists of a graphic or alphanumeric display, 16 signalling LED diodes and a keyboard. UNIVERSAL MEDIUM VOLTAGE PROTECTION RELAY The protection relay UTXvL is designed to protect the HV and MV field, working with the neutral point in any configuration. It provides fast, selective and reliable switching when any type of short circuit (phase-to-phase or earth-to-phase) occurs. The basis for the reliable operation and security is a fast and precise measurement of the analog signals and precise calculation of the voltage, current and earth admittance vectors. The device is equipped with 14-bit A/D converters and serial transmission interfaces (RS 232, CL, and IEC 870-5-103). Both fiber optic and ethernet TCP/IP communications are supported. The protection relay UTXvL is designed to protect HV and MV fields such as field cable and overhead lines, the HV side of a transformator field, the principal’s own needs, the field coupling capacitors and the battery box.

MULTIMODE LOAD SHEDDING CONTROLLER Automat ZSN 5 R is fully microprocessor device intended to protect medium voltage switching station from power supply decay. It is integrated universal automation system (SZR), containing program moduls of automatics as well as moduls of automat’s status control, which permit flexible adapting of automat to the given switching station requirements. It ensures a complex protection of switching station from power supply decay as well as from switching off the switching station’s feeding line main breaker.
