The particular event that caught my attention was in a 6 grade course, I was doing my VISE in San Judas Tadeo school which its characteristics are the people who are poor and the sources of the school are little. The event that caught my attention was the fact of realize what kind of games the children played during the classroom, these games were for example, a child grinded a piece of chalk on the table and then he pretended to be sniffing the powder, simulating a person sniffing cocaine, and then the other children copied his game, and they stored the chalk powder in papers and started selling it to the partners. Well the reason why this event called my attention was that being so young they are so related with the drugs, their mood with this subject, and the knowledge about the matter that is very wide for what I have seen on this school. My first question is: Why these children take the subject of the drugs as a game? The answer from my point of view is that in our society the information about drugs is not enough in schools, there is no really education about the dangers of every drugs and children are curious and the information that they get is from their neighbourhood, from the streets where is abundant the poorness and delinquency. My second question is: Why these children know about drug-taking and the way drug dealers do? I think that many of these children live day by day the reality of drugs, probably they see it on the streets, with friends or even in their own family. Finally my last question is: Take drugs like a game will affect their visions and relationship with it in the future? Probably yes, because many teenagers nowadays don’t realize the dangers of the drugs, because there is no enough education on the school, people are afraid to tell what drugs are and people don’t realize the fact that children will know this for theirselves, for their point of view and without enough information, if they are not taught before from people that they trust.
