first, the "gender" is the set of characteristics within the society that differentiates men from women, as well as all the behaviors that a woman and a man should have in life Violence of gender is any behavior that is done through power relations based on gender, ie the masculine and feminine. This situation is a public health problem that affects the victims physically, mentally and emotionally. This type of violence occurs in particular situations, for example, when they are girls and women or people with disabilities but there are also men who suffer this type of violence from their partners Gender violence: directed more at women because they are female, that is, considering that the female sex is inferior with respect to the male sex. In Colombia, for example, much is seen in the armed conflict, where women are used as an object of war, where men threaten her and her family. They also occur when there is intrafamily and couple violence. Types of gender violence We can find the following types of violence.       

Physical violence Psychological violence Sexual violence Economic violence Patrimonial violence Vicarious violence Social violence

1. When a person is beaten, wounded or hurt by a person of the opposite sex or his partner. 2. When the victim is humiliated and affects their self-esteem 3. When the person receives less money than another person, it can be a woman or a man. 4. when they destroy the objects, or properties of the victim 5. when the person should be away from their friends or family because their partner asks for it.

6. when they threaten the victim with taking away their children or can not see them. For example, last month in Colombia, the case of Actris Eileen Moreno is being presented, who was a victim of gender-based violence of a physical nature by her partner. but you can also see that Alejandro Garcia was a victim of gender violence on her part. then it is understood that gender violence is not only against women. This situation is aggravated because in the case of women, only two out of 10 decide to denounce, but on the other hand some of them only ask for some kind of help.
