FEBRUARY 12, 2019 VIDEO REFLECTION

The moment I heard that we would have to create a video individually and choose our own topic, I panicked. For me, creating a video especially when you have to create it yourself is especially tiring and embarrassing. I can’t even stare at my reflection on mirror for a minute. Then, when choosing a topic, I found it hard to react to then I finally hardened my will and choose the topic social contradictions and tensions which centered on social issues such as terrorism, protest, gender inequality and so much more which I pointed out and defined on the video. Consequently, I made my script on my way home and tried to memorize it but failed. Before I took the video, I prepared my phone to video and another phone for my script to read during the video, though I bet that it was obvious that I was reading something in the video. I took 3 rounds of video in order to be pleased with myself and I got worried about editing because I don’t have a software for editing nor do I have editing skills. In the end I ended up at posting the video raw without any edit. When the video was posted I was pleased with myself because I created my own video and posted it on my Facebook account. I was satisfied for every comment, reactions and like my video received and got my confidence boosted.
