Vice President of the United States A position once described as “not worth a bucket of warm piss.” Your power and prestige have improved somewhat since then, but you are still basically waiting for the current President to finish his term. Once he’s out of the way, you can make your own presidential bid. Until then, your job largely consists of breaking ties in the Senate and waiting for the POTUS’s heart to stop beating.

Agendas More Tax Revenue The VP has a lot to gain from tax revenue. The easiest way to raise government income is through raising taxes. You’re gearing up for your own presidential bid. And you know that the current President will take the heat for the taxes. But the party reaps the benefits of spreading the wealth to supporters. So people complain about the guy raising their taxs now, but are happier later on when you run for office yourself.
