SPEAKER ON TUESDAY! All are invited to join us for a talk given by Thomas Awiapo. Thomas has an inspiring story of survival and success. Listen to the Mass announcement for more details. He will speak after the 12:30 pm Mass on Tuesday. Bring your lunch and enjoy this talk. Be Someone’s Friend Come join a group of volunteers who make people happy! On Sunday mornings we carpool to our sister community at the Austin State School for the Mentally Retarded. We accompany residents to a Catholic prayer service we hold in the Chapel. Many of these folks are in wheelchairs and could not come to church without us. For more information, please sign up at the front counter; call Kathy Hackett, 512.928.1776: or email [email protected] Director of Development Hired! We are pleased to announce that we have hired Ana-Cristina Gonzalez as our new Director of Development. Ana is a 2002 UT grad who was very active at the UCC. She brings a deep passion for the mission of the UCC, along with her own fond memories of her years as a student leader. Ana will begin her employment on February 16th. Please welcome Ana to the UCC family! You can send her notes of welcome to [email protected] 8 pm Mass Parking Changes Effective March 1st, 8 pm Mass attendees will no longer be able to park in the lot at the corner of 20th and Whitis. This lot had been leased by St. Austin’s on Sundays and they had generously allowed us to use it for our late Mass. Since St. Austin will no longer be leasing that lot, we can no longer use it. The UCC Staff is investigating other possible parking arrangements and will announce any new parking in the bulletin. Thanks for your understanding.

Visit the new Paulist website at www.paulist.org Valentine’s Day Fair Trade Chocolate Sale! The Social Justice Team will be selling Fair Trade Chocolate after all the Masses today for Valentine's Day. There will also be Micah 6 T-shirts for sale for $10.
