Tuning the jas.ini settings

To optimize performance, open the jas.ini file and change the following settings:

[JDENET] • maxPoolSize= 50 Change this value from the default value of 30.This change increases the number of connections to the enterprise server. • maxConnection= 150 This is the maximum number of JDBC database connections you can create.

[LOGS] • Debug= FALSE • comment out the Log and Debuglog parameters To configure the jas.ini file you must: • Add server names specific to your installation to parameters in the [SECURITY] and [SERVER] sections. • Verify the path names for various settings that are path name specific. If you follow the PeopleSoft recommendations, you should not need extensive modifications to these paths. • Verify the port numbers for your TCP/IP connections.
