Terms of reference This assignment was asked by Shahrier Pawanchik (JUE 100 Course Coordinator). This project have been requested at the orientation week to write about attraction place. Introduction Bandar Sunway is a town in the Klang Valley in Selangor, Malaysia. It situated near to our office in the district of Petaling, Selangor. Bandar Sunway was developed by Sunway Group, also known as Sunway Holdings Incorporated Berhad. Construction begun in 1986 to develop Bandar Sunway. Previously, Bandar Sunway was known as

Sungai Way Tin. The township has numerous schools, colleges, a hospital, places of worship, and vibrant commercial areas. Bandar Sunway has also become known as a higher education hub, with three large colleges in the area, namely Monash University, and Sunway University College, and The One Academy.

Numerous attractions and facilities are available within the integrated development, all of which are easily accessible. They are :

Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre Located next to the Pyramid Tower Hotel and Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre is directly linked to the Hotels by an air-conditioned passageway. For cocktail receptions, Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre can cater for up to 6,000 persons, which includes the foyer of the convention space. Parking facilities for up to 10,000 vehicles are available at the convention centre and within the resort’s grounds. The Business Centre offers efficient and professional business support services. Sunway Lagoon Theme Park

Sunway Lagoon is an amusement park in Malaysia. It was officially opened by the then Prime Minister Tun Mahathir bin Mohamad on 1993. It features rides in both the water park and the adjacent dry park. In late 2008, new parks had been added. This internationally acclaimed theme park features the world’s largest surf-wave pool with a 170-metre long man –made beach and thrilling water rides such as the Waters of Africa, Wild Wild West Amusement Park and The World of Adventure with the world’s longest Pedestrian Suspension Bridge measuring 428 metres in length. Sunway Pyramid is a distinctive retail landmark located in the heart of Petaling Jaya. It was opened in 1997 as Malaysia's first themed shopping and entertainment mall. One of the mall's most easily recognised designs is the Egyptian-inspired Pyramid with a lion "standing guard" at the entrance. Sunway Pyramid is also one of the only shopping malls in Malaysia to have an indoor ice skating rink. Sunway Wildlife Interactive Zoo

Sunway Wildlife Interactive Zoo is the latest attraction at the Sunway Lagoon Theme Park. It is an interactive zoo featuring exotic, small and friendly animals from a range of birds, reptiles & mammals.

Sunway Medical Centre An accredited private hospital dedicated to offering specialized healthcare services. The hospital offers numerous executive health programmes. Ice Skating

Pyramid Ice has been the location for major events from ice show productions to international ice skating competitions. With a 2,230 sq. meter facility, the ice rink can hold a maximum of 400 persons at any one time. Pyramid Ice is the preferred destination for ice-skating in Asia. Conclusion As a very attractive place in Malaysia, Bandar Sunway is very suitable place for any activities for friend and family. Facility was build here is the best one in Malaysia

and maybe in Asia. In security aspect, they have a lot of safety officer and tourist police provided by Bandar Sunway. In term of competitive price, Bandar Sunway is affordable for most of people in Malaysia.
