MORRISON CIDERFEST This Saturday Silver State Christian School will once again be manning a booth at the annual Morrison Ciderfest. The Ciderfest is held at the Bear Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at Highway 8 and Summer Street. Come on out for a great time of good, family fun.
Homecoming Mexican Fiesta, sponsored by the senior class, will be provided right after the game. All students, families, alumni, and friends are invited to join in the festivities and support the varsity football team in their game against North Park. Mark your calendar for an afternoon of loads of fun, great competition, and good food. It all begins right here at 1:00 p.m. See you all there!
Exchange Student Program Here is an excellent opportunity to become a host family to a foreign exchange student by partnering with the KoAm Education Alliance. The rewards of sharing cultures and enriching lives benefit both the host family and the student. KoAm is currently recruiting host families for January 2009. Your child will be bringing home a flyer with more of the important details of how you can become a host family.

FALL REVIVAL SERVICES Begin planning now to reserve time in your busy schedule to attend the upcoming Fall Revival Meetings here at Red Rocks Baptist Church with Evangelist Tom Farrell. These meetings begin Sunday, November 2 and run through Friday, November 7. Tuesday evening, November 4th, is set aside especially for the Silver State Christian School family as All-School Night. All of our school choirs will be singing for this special service. Red Rocks Baptist Church is a huge supporter of Silver State. With your attendance, you can show your appreciation to the church for all it does for Silver State and show your support for our students in our Fine Arts Program.
Picture Day Is Coming Picture Day is Tuesday, September 30th. All students (even if picture packages are not purchased) must have their picture taken for the yearbook. Please avoid making any appointments for your child that morning, because we would love to have everyone photographed.
ELEMENTARY PROGRESS REPORTS Elementary Progress Reports are coming home with the children today. Be sure to take a moment to sit down with your child to carefully go over his grades. If you have any questions, please contact the teacher.
