Pontius did it to keep Judea safe!
It made just as much sense when Cheney said it. You know what else doesn’t make sense?
54% of christians in a recent poll said torture could be justified. The most important testimony of Christianity for the past 2000 years was that of one who was tortured to death. Torture is never right, and Jesus would never have condoned it.
That’s the real WWJD.
Torture is not only a serious crime, it is a horribly heinous Sin. Crimes and Sins should never go unpunished. Call your Congress Member today and demand that Torture be investigated.
