To China ,with Love I always wanted to write something about a trade mark that has always been with throughout my lifetime in fulfilling my every dream that trade mark is “Made in China”. My love for china started in my early childhood when china introduced a way more cheaper toys and captured the market along with the hearts of young ones. I still remember when I used to find the trade mark “Made in China” mentioned on my toys. The love for china started to grow along me and it was a time of my early teenage when everything was ‘Made in China’. When I was thirteen of age my younger brother was born and when I went to hospital I also searched him for a trade mark of “Made in China”. In my teenage Chinese bicycles was the major reason of my affection for China. I still remember every other child used to have a local bicycle but I had a bicycle “Made in China” with newly introduced disc brakes system and with that braking system I could perform stunts of lifting my back tire of bicycle which made me famous among others. In 2007 when I was in 7th grade of my school days, china introduced cheaper touch phones for the first time and my father gifted me a phone “Made in China”. It had dual -displays with a folding keyboard along with a touch pen. Literally that phone looks like some gadget from future. Daily in the evening I and all my street boys were used to watch films in that phone which was some sort of a major excitement and lot of fun. Since then I don’t remember the number of smart phones I bought “Made in China”. Time passed as it does from School to college I went to University. At University Everyone was very concerned about fashion and looks at this age. I was concerned too and used to wear Rolex watch “Made in China” as I couldn’t afford the original watch from Rolex. Everyone at college was fond of my watches as nobody could find the difference from the original watch. The same is the cause with my American ‘Aviator’ also made in china. They used to look so original that nobody could find the difference. I still have a Made in China Aviator which I use for Driving. Now I am working in a Swiss based firm as a chemicals sales engineer and I have another reason to love china due to its major importance of being the top supplier of raw material all over the world. From Petrochemical to Electrical technologies china has been a major contributor by supplying product with the trade mark of “Made in China”. Without china time will stop even the clock doesn’t work if you pull out the cell which is “Made in China”. My love for China isn’t stopped yet and I am going to fulfill another dream of mine .I always had a dream of buying a sports motor bike but branded motorbikes are so expensive that I couldn’t
afford one in a lifetime. China has introduced a lot of sports motorbikes with cheaper prices and excellent looks. I am looking to buy sports motorbike “Made in China”. These were only some moments I had with the trade mark “Made in China”. There are a many more moments of happiness attached with. I could even write a whole book on it. I have never been to china but I am always living with it. From being a child to becoming an adult, china was always there where ever I was and Where ever I have been I carried china along with me in the form of “Made in China”. As being middle classed Pakistani I believe china has served the whole world in full filling each dream of every age group. Chinese products are a way cheaper and a way more accessible than European, American or other products. China has made life much more easier by providing every technology affordable for us. The trade mark “Made in China” has a very deep relation with me in full filling my every dream. When a look back at my life I personally believe that china should change its trade mark from “Made in China” to “Love from China”. To China with Love Regards Waqas Iftikhar
