Rationale Technology makes all the work easy and fast. It is used widely in almost all the kind of works and businesses. It offers us a fast but reliable output. We can never go wrong with technology. When it comes to integration of technology to the teaching and learning process it would be a great leap. Pupils learn best when they can see real images. When it comes to the part of the teacher it is a very great help. Making and submission of reports would be very easy. Making of instructional materials would not be very tiring and expensive. Teachers today are technologically inclined. They use technology in all sort of their activities. But this does not mean 100% of the teachers are interested with technology. There are some who still stick with being a traditional teacher. The department of education offers trainings and seminar that promoted technology inside the classroom. They aim to produce teachers who are globally competent in preparing and executing their lessons. "Teachers have had to learn new things and handle new teaching skills. Indeed, there are now a range of media competencies teachers must have to maximize the value of ICT learning in classrooms." (Watson, 2006, p.206).

objectives and its application have great influence in teaching and learning process which encourage teacher educator to use technological application for training programs. Wang (2008) pointed out that "Pedagogy, social interaction and technology are three key components of a technology enhanced learning environment. A sound design of these components should enable teachers to integrate ICT into teaching and learning in an effective way" (p.417). Use of ICTs in education has reshaped the conventional teaching approaches

This is not yet the end of the journey, interview, demonstration teaching and English proficiency test are still waiting to be passed. After all the process are being met, this is now the time to wait for the appointment and special order. Welcome to the DepEd Family. But after landing a teaching job comes another struggle, being assigned in a far flung barangay where you have never came across or visit in your entire life. Being in a remote and isolated place where you are not used is like being in an alien planet. Adjustment period would take long and culture shock would be imminent. More struggles would take place especially if the place is far from your expectations. The mode of transportation just to reach the place would be a very great deal particularly if it takes hiking and climbing mountains or crossing wide seas or oceans.
Electricity matter most second is the mobile network or the signal. It is very difficult working at night if there is no electricity. Working on the instructional materials and lesson plan would be a great battle.

ATTITUDE TOWARDS FACEBOOK, LIFESTYLE, AND THE TEACHING PERFORMANCE OF THE TEACHERS IN THE THREE DISTRICTS OF LAOANG

Rationale
Today’s generation is very different from what it was ten years ago. Way back then only the offices and the schools can provide a complete set of computer. But as the technology evolve many companies produce series of cheap computer sets to sell to the public. Technology continues to update and upgrade. Internet became a sensation. Many social networking sites had boomed into the online society. One of the sites that made its way to the top is Facebook. Facebook is an online based community. It is now the new trend. Before, signing up and logging in on Facebook could only be done through internet capable computers. Today as the smart phones and other affordable android phones enter the economic society, Facebook-ing could easily be done through cell phones while at home or at school. No more hustle on renting computers on the internet shop. As
Facebook’s
popularity

on
the
country,
several
problems relating to it arises. Teacher related problems are slowly making its way out as Facebook becomes the talk of the town. Because of its easy access and mode of operation it has become the favorite past time of different individual. But as it became more popular using Facebook has turned out from past time to hobby. Most of the vacant time or leisure time has been consumed by
posting, liking or even by browsing the profile of the people on their friend’s list. The time that should have been consumed in making school related materials and school reports had been devoured by Facebook. The submission of the needed data’s are delayed instead of fast accomplishment. But aside from this, lesson preparation has the biggest impact. This is the most important part of delivering a lesson
to
the
class
which
is
affected
due
to
teachers’
participation in social media. We are living in this modern technology era wherein the system is slowly killing us and turning us all into slave. Spending much time on social networking sites causes an effect on health of individuals. This is because the more time spent while browsing these social networks can affect the way the genes operate within the human body, and weakens the immune and hormone levels, and function of arteries. In addition, it also has an impact on mental health.
