ABSTRAK

Seorang dokter gigi mempunyai kewajiban yang harus dilakukan dalam menjalankan pekerjaannya. Salah satunya adalah membantu peradilan dengan membuat Visum et Repertum. Visum et Repertum mempunyai peran yang sangat penting, khususnya untuk institusi peradilan dan kesehatan. Terdapat tiga peran Visum et Repertum sebagai alat bukti di persidangan. Kedudukan Visum et Repertum dalam proses peradilan adalah sebagai alat bukti yang merupakan keterangan ahli, surat, dan petunjuk. Seorang dokter gigi boleh membuat Visum et Repertum asalkan sesuai dengan kompetensi ilmu yang dimilikinya. Terdapat beberapa hambatan yang ditemui dalam pembuatan dan pemakaian Visum et Repertum tersebut. Hambatan-hambatan tersebut dapat diatasi jika ada kerja sama yang baik antara berbagai pihak yang berkepentingan dalam Visum et Repertum tersebut. Penulisan ini dlakukan dengan cara deskriptif analisis, menitikberatkan pada studi kasus dan studi literatur yang berhubungan dengan bidang hukum dan kedokteran gigi.

ABSTRACT

One of dentist’s obligations is to help judicature process in making Visum et Repertum. Visum et Repertum has an important position, especially in judicature and health institution. There are three positions of Visum et Repertum in justice process as an evident. The positions are expert witness, document, and guidance. A dentist has the authority to make Visum et Repertum, as long as it conforms with the dentist competance. There are several obstacles in making and using Visum et Repertum. The obstacles can be solved if there is a good cooperation between each person who has the deal with the Visum et Repertum. This study is written by using descriptive analysis method by emphasizing on the case and the literature study which appropriate with legal and dental science.
