TECHNICAL STUDY A. The Product offers 1. Ice Cream 2. Spaghetti 3. Popcorn 4. Nachos 5. Pizza 6. Fries 7. Cake 8. Hamburger 9. Caffeine beverages 10. Lemonade 11. Shakes 12. Softdrnks B. Manufacturing processes Ice cream 1. Initial mixing of materials, pasteurizing (heating at high temperature to kill of any harmful bacteria) and homogenizing (thorough mixing of the cream in attempt to break down any fat globules until the mixture is perfectly smooth and uniform). 2. After the addition of flavors, colors and fruit purees, mix is left to stand for around four hours to cool down. 3. Special barrel freezer machine then takes the mix and gradually freezes only one part of the water crystals making the mix harder. During the same time, machine also pumps clean air into the ice cream, which by the end will hold over 50% of the ice cream volume. Without that air in its structure, ice cream would be hard as an ice cube. 4. Semi frozen mixture is then introduced with the final mix of toppings, such as fruits, nuts, sweets or biscuit mix. 5. At the end, ice cream is packaged and blast-frozen to the temperature between -30 and -40 degrees Celsius. Spaghetti 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

Cook the spaghetti pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside. Heat the oil in a cooking pot. Saute the garlic and onion. Add the ham. Cook for 3 minutes. Put-in the ground pork. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Pour-in the tomato sauce and beef broth. Stir and let boil. Simmer for 60 minutes. Add the hotdogs and tomato paste. Stir and cook for 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens. 8. Put-in the sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir until the ingredients are well incorporated. 9. Arrange the spaghetti pasta in an individual plate. Pour the meat sauce over the pasta and top with cheese. 10. Serve.

Popcorn 1. Pour enough oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pot. Turn on the burner to medium high. 2. Place one or two kernels of popcorn into the pot, then place the pot onto the burner. Place the lid onto the pot. 3. Wait until you can hear the popcorn pop. This depends on the heat and size of the pan, but is usually between 1 and 5 minutes. 4. Once the popcorn has popped, make a light layer of popcorn on the bottom of the pan, not more than one kernel deep. 5. Replace the lid and let the popcorn pop. 6. Listen for the slowing down of popping, being careful not to burn the popcorn. 7. Once it has slowed down sufficiently, remove the pan from the burner and turn off the oven. Pour the popcorn into a bowl, season to customer’s liking, and serve. Nachos Pizza Nachos 1. Preheat oven to 180C (350f). Cut each tortilla into 8 triangles. 2. In a bowl mix together butter, spices and parmesan. Add tortillas and toss to coat evenly. 3. Lay evenly on a line baking sheet without overlapping. Bake for 8-10 minutes until crispy and just golden. Keep an eye on them as they can crisp quickly 4. Pile nachos in a pan, top with pizza sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni. 5. Bake for 8 minutes until cheese is melted. Longganisa Nachos 1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 2. Place pizza crust on a baking tray and brush with olive oil. Place longganisa, onions, and tomatoes on the crust. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly on top, then add kesong puti cubes. 3. Bake in the oven for 6 to 7 minutes or until the cheese has melted. Remove from the oven and crack an egg in the center of the pizza. Return to the oven and cook for 2 to 3 more minutes or until the egg white has set. Serve immediately. California Roll Nachos 1. In a medium bowl, combine crab, mayonnaise, lime juice, and sriracha. Season with salt and stir to combine. 2. Cut eggroll wrappers into wedges. In a large skillet, heat about ½” oil until shimmering. Add wedges and cook until golden and crispy, about 1 minute per side. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate and sprinkle immediately with salt. 3. On a serving platter, lay half of chips then top with half each of crab mixture, avocado slices, and green onions. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and drizzle with more sriracha. Repeat to make two layers.

Pesto Cheese Pizzas 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Spread the pesto cheese spread evenly on the two pizza crusts. Sprinkle with pine nuts Bake pizzas in oven for 6 to 10 minutes or until crust edges begin to brown. Top with basil leaves before serving Make the pesto-cheese spread: Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and whiz to blend (about 4 to 5 pulses). 6. Spread on warm, toasted bread. The spread will keep in the refrigerator for 5 days, if properly chilled. Mini Pepperoni Pizza 1. Preheat toaster oven. 2. Lay bread slices on a cutting board. Spoon spaghetti sauce over each slice, spreading sauce toward the edges. Cover with slices of pepperoni and mushrooms. Cover bread with mozzarella. Top with oregano leaves. 3. Place on a baking tray, and bake until mozzarella has melted and begun to brown at the edges. Remove from heat, and serve immediately. Fries (this is the general procedure) 1. In a medium bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water. Soak potatoes in water mixture for 15 minutes. Remove from water, and dry thoroughly on paper towels. 2. Heat oil in deep-fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Add potatoes, and cook until golden, 5 to 6 minutes. drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste. Cake Black Forest gateau 1. Heat oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4. Grease and line the base of 3 x 20cm cake tins. Boil the kettle. Put the butter and 75g chocolate broken into chunks in a small pan and gently heat, stirring, until completely melted. 2. Mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa and bicarbonate of soda with a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Whisk the eggs and buttermilk or yogurt together. Scrape the melted chocolate mixture and egg mixture into the dry ingredients, add 100ml boiling water and whizz briefly with an electric whisk until the cake batter is lump free. 3. Divide the mixture between the tins and bake for 25 mins, swapping the tins round after 20 mins if they’re on different shelves. To test they're done, push in a skewer and check that it comes out clean. 4. Prick the cakes a few times with a skewer. Mix together the 2 tbsp reserved cherry juice and the kirsch (or more juice) and drizzle over the cakes. Cool the cakes. 5. Mix together the remaining drained cherries and jam. Tip 200ml of the cream into a small pan and heat until just below simmering point. Chop the remaining chocolate and

put in a heatproof bowl, pour over the hot cream and stir until melted. Set aside until spreadable. 6. When the cakes are cool whisk the remaining cream and the icing sugar together until softly whipped. Spread over two of the cakes, then spoon over the jammy cherries. Stack the cakes together. Spread the chocolate cream over the third cake and sit on top of the other cakes. Pile the fresh cherries in and around the cake and serve.

Break the eggs into a bowl. Now, add flour, almonds, cocoa, baking powder and salt. 3. Add milk and mix well until smooth. Dust the edges of the cake tin with cocoa and pour the mixture. 4. Place the tin into a preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius and bake for about 40 minutes. Remove and cool for 5 minutes. 5. Remove the cake and invert onto a wire rack. Allow it to cool completely. 6. To make the frosting, heat sugar in a large pan. Pour 400 ml of water and simmer until it has a one-string consistency. Remove from flame. 7. Add the chocolate and whisk well, until smooth and chocolate has fully melted. Keep aside to cool completely. 8. Spread the frosting all over the cake. Garnish the way you like. Allow it to set and cut into slices. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream. Ice Cream Cake with Oreo Cookies Take a bowl and mix butter, cocoa powder and powdered sugar together. Dip glucose biscuits in milk and arrange it on a plate. Make a square of 12 biscuits. Apply cocoa mixture on those biscuits. 2. Follow the same procedure for the second layer of glucose biscuits and cocoa mixture. Make 3 such layers and refrigerate it for 2 hours. Then cut into pieces and place the cake in between two scoops of vanilla ice cream. Garnish this wish crushed Oreo cookies. Decorate this ice-cream cake recipe with fruits and nuts of choice. 1.

Hamburger 1. If your ground beef is already defrosted, season the meat generously with salt and black pepper. Seasoning with kosher salt is recommended. 2. Use your hands to separate the beef into ¾ - 1-inch-thick patties. You can make them bigger but they will take longer to cook. 3. Add a few droplets of water into a non-stick pan and add patties. Be careful not to overcrowd the patties. If they can’t fit all at once, cook in batches. Cook each side until brown. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. According to food safety organizations, patties should at least read 160F on the thermometer to be safe to eat.

4. When patties are cooked to your liking, you can slap on a slice of cheese on each one. Let cheese melt for a minutes while the patties are still in the pan. 5. Use a spatula to remove the beef patties from heat and serve on toasted buns with lettuce and tomato and onion slices. Enjoy. Coffee Cappuccino 1. 2. 3. 4.

Foam up the milk by whisking it Pour brewed coffee into a cup Add the foamy milk Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon powder

Latte 1. Make your espresso or strongly brewed coffee: As mentioned in the notes above, any strongly brewed espresso from a home espresso maker or a capsule machine like a Nespresso will do. Or use strongly brewed coffee from an Aeropress, not diluted with any water. 2. Froth the milk: Pour milk into the jar. Fill no more than halfway. Screw the lid on tightly, and shake the jar as hard as you can until the milk is frothy and has roughly doubled in volume, 30 to 60 seconds. 3. Microwave the milk: Take the lid off the jar and microwave uncovered for 30 seconds. The foam will rise to the top of the milk and the heat from the microwave will help stabilize it. 4. Pour warm milk into the espresso: Pour the espresso or coffee into a wide, shallow coffee cup. Use a large spoon to hold back the milk foam, and pour as much warm milk as you would like into the espresso. 5. Add foam: Spoon as much milk foam as you would like onto your latte (or perhaps it's a cappuccino at this point!).

Americano 1. 2. 3. 4.

Have a latte mug, or coffee mug ready. Pull a 3oz (or more if you like your drink stronger) espresso shot into a separate glass. Pour about 3oz or so of hot water into the mug you plan to drink from. Pour the espresso shot into the mug.

Espresso Macchiato 1. Clear the extra water out of the steam wand. 2. Follow our steps for frothing milk for a cappuccino when preparing your milk. 3. As you froth your milk, keep in mind that you should be expanding it quite a bit and incorporating in as much air as you can. Remember: We're looking for that milk foam!

4. Clean up that steam wand while you pull your espresso shot. 5. Give your frothing pitcher a firm tap against the counter and swirl to incorporate the foam into the milk. 6. For a macchiato with very foamed milk, pour the milk directly on top of the espresso shot. For a macchiato with a dollop of foam, let the milk sit for a minute to let it separate from the foam (or don't tap and swirl initially) and then spoon a few tablespoons onto the espresso shot. Mocha 1. Make a small amount of coffee with only hot water. Get a small cup and fill about 2⁄3 centimeter (0.3 in) of the cup with coffee and hot water, no milk. 2. Next, put some milk in a jug ready to add to the coffee. Put 2 spoonfuls of hot chocolate powder and stir it in the jug. Put it in the microwave for 2 minutes. 3. Add the hot chocolate from the jug to the coffee in the cup. Lemonade 1. 2. 3. 4.

Cut the lemons in half. Squeeze the lemon juice into a bowl or cup. Pour the freshly squeezed lemon juice into cups or glass. Add a half teaspoon of sugar.

Shakes 1. Prepare the ingredients 2. Blend the ice 3. Add milk, yogurt together with the fruit and blend it. C. Plant size and production schedule
