ZOB advised the PIT Arrival North controller of the unanticipated turn, loss of transponder return and lack of communication pertaining to UAL 93. Projected flight path would result in UAL passing in close proximity, if not directly overhead, PIT ATCT.

PIT ATCT Arrival North controller advised the watch supervisor of the above.

PIT Arrival North controller manually initiated a track on the primary target of UAL 93. Uncorrelated track was tagged as N123.

Determination made by ATM to commence evacuation of PIT ATCT.

PIT Arrival North controller completes all necessary coordination with adjacent facilities and communication with aircraft on the frequency pertaining to evacuating PIT ATCT.
