ALL:

Attached is the Commission's equipment recording policy. Recording equipment is generally not permitted in classified areas. DO NOT ASSUME that that the Commission policy supercedes that of your host agency. You are advised to present a copy of this policy to your respective agency POCs so that they can "grease the skids" with their respective security organizations. Contact me with any questions. Equipment used will meet current recording standards. Purchase of recording equipment and recording media is the property of the Commission and will not be used for other than Commission related work. USE OF EQUIPMENT All Commission recording equipment shall be accountability property and shall be signed for using established Commission accountability property receipts. These receipts shall be maintained with the recording equipment and delivered to the host agency upon request. EQUIPMENT STORAGE Recording equipment is on the list of items prohibited from classified areas.
