Children with EIA require bronchodilators before activity. Usually, albuterol via a metered-dose inhaler is given 20 to 30 minutes before exercise.
5. CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM/ASSESMENT/NORMAL VARIATIONS
Rate and rhythm

Murmurs are also common in children. They are often innocent and functional, but should be followed up to rule out pathology.
