Wareham High School Summer Reading List 2009 •

All students at Wareham High School must participate in the summer reading program and tests on these books will be administered to all students by the second week of school. The summer reading test(s) will constitute 10% of each student’s first quarter grade.

Students entering college prep classes must choose one book among those designated for that grade level.

Students entering honors classes must read both assigned books.

While reading journals are not required, students may use these or handwritten notes during the test.

Local bookstores and libraries have been notified of the titles on the WHS summer reading list, so copies of these books should be widely available.

Students in grades 10-12 should note that the version of Three Cups of Tea is different than the version assigned to grade 9. Summer reading tests will assess student understanding of these specific versions.
