Study Plan Hadiyoga Tjitro Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Surabaya, Indonesia

Dear Sir / Mam, My name is Hadiyoga Tjitro. I am a fresh graduated student from Department of Civil Engineering, Institute Technology of Sepuluh Nopember, Indonesia with final GPA 3.59 out of 4.00. My passion for learning civil engineering field enabled me to achieve excellent results in academic years. In 2017, I got award from Diponegoro University as a finalist of Bridge Design Competition, and there are several seminars that I had attended and also I have finished my final project, the title is Study of Beam Column Joint with SNI 2847:2013, ACI 318M:14, NZS 3101.1:2006, and EN 1992:2004 against Seismic Load on The Structure of The Arundaya Building. I am planning to pursue my Master Degree abroad to increase my knowledge and insight, and I want to continue at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Taiwan. Here I will explain my reasons for studying in NTUST, Taiwan: First, Taiwan and NTUST have advanced technology and complete facilities that can support and enhance my learning ability, intellectual, and research. Second, NTUST has lecturers which are experts in their fields, especially in the areas that I want to learn. Third, in Taiwan, I can learn a new language and culture which I will get new experiences and may increase my global knowledge. Therefore, I can be an intellectual with global perspective. After getting my Master’s degree, next, I want to be a specialist in building structure and material construction at multinational companies and international companies. Then, after 3 years looking for experience, I will continue as a lecturer and researcher in my homeland university. That is my final contribution to my country by teaching nation’s next generation. I have a desire to transfer and develop the knowledge that I have gained from this program to student in Indonesia. Then, I will promote my student or my friend to take master or doctorate study in NTUST The scholarship will fund my education to study civil engineering at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology for two year. National Taiwan University of Science and Technology teaching methods, facilities and rich literature will be a key enabler in facilitating me to unfold my potential. I will be grateful if I can be accepted to enroll in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology Master Program of Structural Engineering, because it will give me a lot of benefits and also be one of the milestones that I had for pursuing my goals. Once I acquire a higher level of education in Civil Engineering in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, I will use my knowledge to teach the next generation as a lecturer and solve the problem in many project.
