Ephesians 4:17-24

Starting a New Relationship with God So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more. You, however, did not come to know Christ that way. Surely you heard of him and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Ephesians 4:17-24

Relationships The relationships that we have with people determines the joy, happiness and fulfillment we have in life. Broken relationships bring heartaches, grief, pain, depression, sorrow and stress. A broken relationship with God brings hopelessness and unfulfilled lives. We should never allow misunderstanding, disappointments or disagreements to break our relationships with friends, family or God. We should make an effort to start new relationships with new friends and acquaintances because they will enrich and fulfill us in the days and years to come. You never know when you may be entertaining angels! Pastor Bob

Lord, please make us aware of your great love for us. “And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.” Ephesians 3:17-18

Singles Concert in the Park Join us Sunday, June 14th. Meet at DFC at 5:00 pm to carpool to City Park. There is a free concert near Ferril Lake. Bring $2 for gas, a chair, sack dinner and drinks. Tickets are $6.00 each, plus the cost of lunch at Piccolo’s (your expense). We are limited to 30 people! Buy tickets at the IN Group Booth (south entrance). Navajo Mission Trip Informational Meeting If you are interested in going to Chilchinbeto, NM on July 18-26, or if you just want to find out what’s happening, come to this meeting! Singles Go To The Rockies Game Meet on Saturday, June 20th at the Englewood Light Rail station at 5:00 pm to head down to Coors Field for the 6:10 pm game. Youth Albuquerque Mission Trip Our Youth (7th - 12th grade) Albuquerque Missions trip is right around the corner, July 12-17. Cost is $265 if registered and paid in full by June 29. After June 29, the cost goes up to $300. We will be doing VBS, light construction and working with the homeless in the community. Partial scholarships are available, please turn in scholarship form no later than June 29. Please pick up paperwork in the Rock Room or at the Student Ministries Booth. Palomas Mission Trip, June 4-14 Please be in prayer for our mission trip participants as they journey to Palomas, Mexico to work on construction of a multi-use church facility, medical clinics and VBS children’s ministry.
