Council 13555 is pleased to announce the fourth annual Golf Tournament, to be held at Rancho Park Golf Club on August 21, 2009. Be Sure to pick up a flyer. Thank you. ADORATION AND PRAYERS This Friday is the first Friday of the month and we will have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until 10:00 a.m. Our special intention will be for vocations. Also, it is the custom at St. Timothy’s to have special devotions to Our Lady of Fatima on the first Saturday of each month. These devotions consist of attending mass, receiving communion on the first Saturday and special prayers are said after the mass.

¾STS 3rd grade will continue collecting pull tabs for the RONALD McDONALD HOUSE of PASADENA over the summer. This house provides families of critically ill children a home a way from home, blocks from their child's hospital. Save as many pull tabs as you can throughout the summer and bring them to school when we start in September! Thanks for your support and for recycling! ¾ STS Library Seeking Laptops! The Library at STS could use your help. In the fall, the entire library collection will be online. If you or your employers have laptops to donate to the Library, the students would get a modern library and you would receive a tax deduction!! For additional information, contact Rose Parekh at [email protected] St. Timothy School Improvement Fund. St. Timothy School is in the process of raising money for the School Improvement Fund. Our planned improvements include renovations for a new portico, new alley fence to match the fence along Pico Blvd., new lunch tables and sports equipment storage room. Children's Liturgy of the Word We welcome all our children to join us in this wonderful year round program. Your children will be invited at the beginning of our 9:00 a.m. Mass to a rich and fun experience to learn more about our Sunday Gospel reading. Please do not forget to bring non-perishable food donations so your children can join in our gift procession.

Non-perishable food drive at our 9am Family Mass please drop off your food donations before our 9am Mass in the Chapter Room. Our children will bring the food to the altar during our gift procession. The children love to be little disciples in helping the poor and the needy.

Internet Safety Lectures Available Now Because children can be the target of internet predators, the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office offers Internet Safety Lectures for parents and school age children from 5th grade and up and community groups. These presentations are approximately one hour in length and deal with issues including internet safety issues, social networking sites such as MySpace, Instant Messenger (AOL/AIM), Internet predators, Megan’s law, internet chat rooms and popular weblogs.
