In the current edition of ‘Our Diocesan Family’, the diocesan newspaper you will find much news about our Grade 1 listed magnificent cathedral. Next year St. John the Baptist Cathedral, the second largest R.C. cathedral in the country, will reach its first centenary. The cathedral is also a parish church but the financing of the maintenance of the building cannot be left purely to the Norwich parishioners. In 1982 The Friends were founded to provide for and enhance the fabric of the building. There are a number of projects to be completed including providing a new carpet for the richly enhanced sanctuary, a new font and a major overhaul of the sound system. If you would like to play your part in caring for the Mother Church of the diocese please take a leaflet from the porch for completion and forwarding to the Secretary of the Friends.

C.W.L. A reminder to our ladies, our section A.G.M. is on Monday 9th March at 7.15pm. Please note the change of time; the reason for this, is because our new Branch Treasurer - Connie Roberts, is coming from Norwich by train and an earlier start will enable her to catch the last train back.
