PARISH PARTY Thank you to everyone who supported the parish party. Thanks to your generosity a donation of £216 will be made to the Bishop's Cambodian Appeal. We hope you enjoyed the evening. RESULT OF THE C.W.L. RAFFLE C.W.L. would like to thank the parish for their support in our recent raffle for the knitted Nativity scene. We raised £171 for our charities and the winner was Maureen Davison.

ALL ARE GRATEFUL TO DOUG, JENNY, TERESA, SYLVIA AND ALL HELPERS FOR THE GREAT PARTY LAST SATURDAY CHURCHES TOGETHER IN FELIXSTOWE ARE ABLE THIS YEAR TO SHOW THEIR CRIB AT 28 HAMILTON RD, TOGETHER WITH LISTS OF MOST OF THE CHURCH SERVICES . THE UNITYWEEK SERVICE WILL BE ON JAN 25TH 6.30PM AT ST. JOHNS CHURCH. ALL ARE WELCOME .

THE FAMILY OF JESUS AND MARY would like to remind all members that there will be no meeting in December. We meet again for our Christmas Party on Friday, 9th January at 7pm. ADVENT PROGRAMME CHILDREN NEEDED FOR THE CAROL SERVICE

SUNDAY SENIORS LUNCH

on Sunday 21st December at 3pm.

DRIVERS PLEASE DELIVER BY 12.30. AND COLLECT 3.PM.

Any children (aged 4+) who would like to take part in the Nativity scenes at the Carol service should be at St Felix Church after 9am mass on the 21st, for a short rehearsal. If anyone would like to take part but cannot be at the morning rehearsal or for more information, please contact Pauline Mayes, Theresa Whitley or Monica Macdonald.

THURSDAY 18 SERVICE OF RECONCILIATION 7.30.PM.

RAGE YOUTH GROUP The next meeting is Christmas themed and is on Monday 15th at 7.30pm. Lots of fun games and people, please bring along your friends. There will be the usual food and drink so please bring 50p to help out. We look forward to seeing you.

DES WARD, R.I.P

I received news during the week that Des, husband of Mary, dies at Coniston nursing home. Though he was not a Catholic, his brief funeral service will take place on Wednesday, 17th December, in the Convent chapel at 2pm, followed by interment at Felixstowe cemetery. May he rest in peace.

There is a second collection this week and next for all the sick and retired priests of the diocese. Many older priests have inadequate pensions for their retirement, working in the days when money in the diocese was scarce and used mainly to build up the physical plant. PLEASE BE GENEROUS TO THEM!
