Asana Alphabet Yoga combines fun games, partner work and other activities with authentic yoga postures, breathwork, meditation and relaxation for a full body-mind tune up. If you would like to learn how to knit or you already know how, this class is for you. Knitting is an activity that helps improve math skills, design skills, and physical dexterity. Knitting is a calming activity that helps reduce stress. Working on a knitting project is a great way to unwind after a long day. Girls as well as boys are equally capable of picking up the fundamentals. Knitting is great for teaching fine motor skills and concentration, plus, it allows children a creative outlet. The children will learn the fundamental stitches - casting on, knit, pearl and casting off. Class size limited to 8 students

That art will be left in the park to return to nature but the self-expression, experience of crafting and creating will become part of the children. Come and enjoy this fast-paced, high-energy exciting game of lacrosse. No experience is necessary to join and all equipment is provided. All that is required is a positive, energetic attitude to learn and have fun. The exhilarating sport of lacrosse is a combination of basketball, soccer and hockey. Students will practice and refine the main skills of cradling, scooping, dodging, throwing and catching, as well as learn about the rules and game of lacrosse. Fitness is a major component of lacrosse, so students will be on the move when they arrive until the time they are picked up. During our class, children will sing songs, move, improvise, compose, and play instruments. Sometimes, we will put on minishows where we read a story, act it out, sing songs with it, and create our own pit orchestra by playing glockenspeils, xylophones, metallophones, and other percussion instruments like tamborines, claves, and triangles. Sonali Skandan, celebrated dancer and teacher, will teach an introductory Bharatanatyam course. Students will learn how dance, theatre, music and literature work together in this form through practical learning and performance demonstrations. They will be given practical as well as theoretical training, culminating in a group presentation at the conclusion of the course. All classes will begin with a yoga warm-up to loosen and prepare the body. Bharatanatyam, the classical dance form of South India, is a synthesis of dance, music, drama, literature and sculpture. It is known for its complex rhythms, dynamic footwork, sculpturesque poses and dramatic storytelling. The ancient dance form, which originated in the Temples and Courts of India, is one of the most popular classical dances of the world. Class size is limited to 14 students.

Art-n-Orbit is a unique art and science program that focuses on children's creative spirit while they learn the fundamentals of art and science. We explore the Universe, create spinning Robots that zoom across the floor, conduct fun science experiments and much more. Our hands-on classes are both engaging and educational for boys and girls. Come and enjoy this fast-paced, high-energy exciting game of lacrosse. No experience is necessary to join and all equipment is provided. All that is required is a positive, energetic attitude to learn and have fun. The exhilarating sport of lacrosse is a combination of basketball, soccer and hockey. Students will practice and refine the main skills of cradling, scooping, dodging, throwing and catching, as well as learn about the rules and game of lacrosse. Class size limited to 16 students

Homework helper offers a quiet place where children can do their homework. A teacher will be available to answer questions about assignments. It also provides a quiet place for children to read during after-school hours. Each day, children need to check in with EXTENDED DAY, and will be charged for their time as if enrolled in the Extended Day program. There is no additional fee for the Homework Helper service on top of the Extended Day charges. Students need not spend the entire session in Homework Helper. They can use the time to get started, or to complete homework assignments.

Please Note: No Class May 29th This Karate course led by Eddie Kelen is designed to enhance studentsʼ physical coordination, self-control and mental discipline through the teaching of self-defense techniques, street-smart awareness, kata (artful forms of karate movements) and meditation. Only students taking 2 out of 3 trimesters will be eligible to be tested at the end of the year for the next belt level. More info will be sent home by Sensei.
