Thousands of years ago the Iron Age brought about the dawning of a new millennium, and the advent of mystical man; the Blacksmith. This figure was often considered a sorcerer-artisan, possessing magical powers, which enabled to forge, bend, and mold this seemingly inflexible metal using only fire and water. The strength and beauty of this previously unrefined material was now harnessed, and the world would never be the same again. These contemporary Wrought Iron designs are all originally molded, each piece has been individually crafted to express its own artistic statement. Precisely sealed between two pieces of glass, either acid etched for privacy or clear to view. This door collection will provide ornamental security by the most useful and abundant metal on earth for over 3000 years. Yes, it could be that there is something magical about wrought iron that will keep it in its place, close to man, for the next thousand years.

Raise & Tilt Blinds have a geared slider to allow blind operation without undue bending or stretchng. They are protected by a free fall clutch in case of a temporary disengagement of the internal magnet.

Fiberglass doors won’t warp, split, shrink or swell as wood doors do. They will withstand a wide range of temperatures and are available in styles that meet Housing and

Urban Development codes as well as coastal building codes. Fiberglass doors have a solid polyurethane foam core that offers five times the insulation value of wood. Our full system features a high quality weatherstripping, a carving door bottom and a high performance adjustable sill – virtually eliminating air and water infiltration, creating an energy efficient seal and decreasing energy costs.

Pre-hung Wood Frame Steel Door Versatile steel doors can blend into just about any architectural style. And they can accommodate any number of decorative windows. Their rigidity, longevity, air tightness and ease of maintenance make them a good choice. In addition, steel doors yield impressive insulation value at relatively low cost. Steel doors are made of two sheets of steel in between which polyurethane foam is pressure-injected. In terms of insulation, standard 1 3/4 in. doors rate an R16 everywhere, except in glassed-in and etched areas. Large glassed-in areas are very popular despite their poor energy efficiency. On the positive side, they don’t let air in. Steel doors are delivered in wood frames, which should be as deep as possible, consistent with the thickness of the wall into which the door must fit. Standard frames are 4 9/16 in. deep except for Quebec where it is 7 1/4 in. Bear in mind that manufacturers can make frames to suit every need. Steel doors allow the use of magnetic weatherstripping, at the top and around the lock. That allows unusual airtightness. Flexible weatherstripping can be used around the hinges while the bottom of the door typically has an interlocking threshold.

Standard Pre-Hung Wood Frame Steel Door

Flexible weatherstipping around the perimeter of the door jamb. Ensures a tight seal to reduce heat loss. Available in magnetic or foam compression.

Frame members are selected wood species, kiln dried and finger jointed to minimize warping.

Door slab white color with adjustable sweep shoe, 65/8” x 11/4” wood frame, 15/8” x 11/8” wood brick mould, brass hinges, white color magnetic and compression weather stipping, one 2” lock holde, inswing aluminium sill with thermal break.

Steel faces wrapped around top & bottom edges. Double wrapped around vertical edges for rigidity. Both steel faces are hot dippedgalvanized for resistance to rust & corrosion. Factory applied primer

The solid wood lock block provides reinforcement in the critical lock area. (2 3/4 x 12”)

Adhesive backed, die cut sill gasket prevents water seepage between the sill and frame The aluminum and vinyl sill is thermally broken to eliminate frost transfer. Together with the adjustable bottom weatherstrip this system provides a true barrier against water and air infiltration.

Solid polyurethane foam core is injected between the two steel facings to fill every air space and permanently bonded to provide outstanding insulation and stability. Continuous wood perimeter provides a thermal break between outside and inside surfaces to eliminate frost and condensation.
