Sinopsis La Serenissima

Sinopsis: Desde el 2 de julio de 1952 al 7 de abril de 1953, Ramón Gaya hizo varias visitas a Venecia... En aquellos días fue realizando anotaciones en su Diario... Casi cuarenta años después, en 1990, en Murcia, Ramón Gaya leyó para unos amigos algunas de sus anotaciones sobre Venecia, que formaban parte de su libro Diario de un pintor, publicado en 1984 por la editorial Pre-Textos. Este montaje ha nacido de la admiración al pensamiento y a aquella emocionada lectura de Ramón Gaya, y a esa misteriosa Ciudad que... “no es sólo un Ciudad, un lugar, sino una… existencia”.

Synopsis: Between July 2nd 1952 and April 7th 1953, the painter Ramón Gaya paid several visits to Venice and during that time made a number of notes in his Diary. Almost forty years later, in 1990, in Murcia, Gaya read to a group of friends a selection of those notes which he had included in his book Diary of a Painter, published in 1984 by the PreTextos publishing company. The origins of this documentary lie in that moving occasion in 1990, in the admiration felt for Gaya’s ideas and for that mysterious city that “is not just a city, a place, but… an existence”.
