SHUVO NOBO BORSHO 1415 Like every year AIUB has celebrated the Pohela Boishakh 1415 through day-long fair and cultural program. Students, Faculty Members, Members of AIUB Management and their family members enjoyed various colorful events in this fair. The program started with a rally organized by the Department of Architecture and led by the Honorable Vice Chancellor of AIUB Dr. Carmen Z Lamagna. The rally was decorated with various colorful festoons and characters prepared by the Architecture students. Mr. Hasanul A Hasan, Founder & Vice President of HR, Admin and Treasury and Ms. Nadia Anwar, Founder & Vice President of Student Affairs were also present in the rally. It started from Campus 2 and ended at the Banani Club ground, the venue of AIUB Boishakhi Ullash 1415. Dr. Carmen Z Lamagna, Mr. Hasanul A Hasan and Ms. Nadia Anwar opened the fair. The fair included stalls decorated by Students with traditional gifts items, handicrafts, foods and drink. AIUB Performing Arts Club started the cultural program singing ‘Esho He Boishakh’ and then entertained the audience with dance, songs, recitation from puthi. Afterwards Professional Bands and performers like, Maqsud O Dhaka, Dalchut, DJ Rahat, Mila and Ehsan performed in the program. Even though the whole program was arranged by the AIUB Management for AIUB students, faculty members, employees and their family members, but it was open for all.
