Dear Parents, It’s hard to believe we have been in school for three days. I wanted to share some information with you about our 1st grade classroom. We have been working hard on the school wide rules. They are be safe, be respectful, and be responsible. Every one is doing great. Please let them know how proud you are that they made it all day being safe, responsible, and respectful. I have enclosed some book orders. If you want to purchase any books please have them back to me by September 5th. If you purchase by using a check please make sure the check is made out to the book club Scholastic. Thank you in advance for helping in the classroom. We are going to begin science centers. Centers will be every Friday from 8:00 - 9:00. We will start on Friday the 5th. I also need helpers for AR time. This is everyday from 11:00- 11:30 if you feel you can drop in. You are welcome any time in our classroom. On September 2nd we will start having Reading Mastery and AR time. You will begin to see more books come home. Please help your child read the book. If the book is too hard please write that on the slip. This way I can listen to them read and find one that works better. Thank you for all you do.
