I think taking care of my physical self will….. Help me manage my stress levels, I feel much more relaxed and better when I workout. During my workout I get my mind off of everything going on, it is very relaxing.
How will I remind Q1 myself to self-praise I will remind myself to self-praise by not bringing my computer home on the weekends. I will only bring it home three nights during the week. I don’t know what it is but for me bringing my computer home forces me to work on things, so if I leave it at school I won’t feel obligated to work on things. I will also record my T.V. show in my planner so that I stick to it and it’ll be a constant
Q2
Self- praise is easy or hard for me? Why? It is hard for me to self-praise. I sometimes see it as me being selfish which it isn’t, it’s what I need to do. I am considered a people pleaser and I like to make sure that everyone else is happy, then me. I need to put myself first more often, which I am actually getting better at after this summer. I also have a very hard time saying no to people, which again is me not selfpraising myself. I am also not the most confident. If I self-praised myself more I feel as though it would boost my confidence which I could benefit from greatly.
Love: Give yourself self-praise or what you will do “just for you”
Self-Praise Activity Just for me on the weekends I will not work on school things, I typically do my lesson planning on Sundays every week and from now on I will be leaving the weekends to me so that I can enjoy myself and my time with the people important in my life. Also one night a week just for me I will take the time every
Tuesday or Monday (depending on the season) to watch my T.V. show. It helps me relax and get my mind off of things. Competence: Step out Several ideas of of your comfort zone. things I have never Record how you feel tried: I have never before/during/after tried taking a yoga class at the YMCA, I have never tried calligraphy (but I want to!), I have never put my phone not by my bed at night, I have never gone to a restaurant alone, I have never meditated, I rarely read for fun (but I’d like to start), I have never taken time to meal prep.

How will I plan to step Q1 out of my comfort zone I am going to revisit this list frequently throughout the year and each month I am going to try something new. I will record this by journaling, which is also something that I very frequently do.

Gratitude: What I am grateful for daily and how I demonstrate thankfulness
I can find daily gratitude in the following areas of my life… I can find gratitude in

Q1
Road blocks during the school year that keep me from trying new things? How I plan to break through the road blocks is…. One major road block for me during the year is stress, I become very stressed and then I become exhausted. I am going to consistently make time for myself throughout the school year so that I don’t become as stressed. A major road block that helps my stress levels would be working out, I feel so much better when I actually go to the gym. I will also help myself stick to this plan by only bringing my computer home three nights a week and get to school by 7:30 am each day to complete all of my prep, I will also plan to leave school everyday by 4:30pm unless attending a required meeting, but no matter what by 6:00 pm I will quit working on school items, which will give me more TIME, which is a major roadblock for myself. Often in stressful times sometimes we think. “What should be” “What could have been”. I can push myself through these times by…. Pausing and breathing. I loved the exercises that we learned in class and I need to take time
for notes in the back, so everyday I am going to write 1 word in the notes section and build a gratitude collage in the back of my planner.
my life through my family, relationships with friends, significant other, faith, and really all areas of my life. I can even find gratitude in my work and career, which is something I should really focus this towards which would help me continue having a positive outlook on my career and not become burnt out.
to actually hit that pause button and do the breathing on my apple watch. It reminds me constantly to breath and I always hit ignore, from now on every time it tells me to breath I am going to click breathe, this will help me tremendously.
