RE: Charity Registration # To Whom It May Concern: This is a reminder that the deadline for filing the Charitable Organization Renewal form is September 30, 2009. Pursuant to ARS 44-6552(D) a late registration penalty of twenty-five dollars is enforced against any renewals received after the September 30th deadline. Religious organizations that are exempt under ARS 446552(F) are also required to submit the Charitable Renewal form. Renewals are filed between September 1 through September 30th. The above referenced statutes are available for review online at www.azleg.state.az.us . Charitable Organization Renewal and Financial Statement forms may be found and completed online at www.azsos.gov . Click on the Site Map and select the Charities link under the "Business Services" heading. Mail to the address indicated on the form. NOTE: If you file the IRS 990, you may use the previous fiscal year's filing instead of the financial statement. If you are in your first year of operation the IRS tax exemption letter may be filed in lieu of the financial statement.
