Teacher tells the student to measure any things that they can in the class. Students will response with several readings that they got. Teacher takes out the measuring tape and shows the students how to measure longer object that they can’t simply do it with ruler. Then the students will response as they read the measurements and teacher tell them to record the readings in exercise book. After that teacher guide them to measure other big things in the classroom and record the readings. Teacher will guide the students.

Teacher raise up two things that are differ in length. Let the students see the different in length clearly. Eg. Duster and broom. Teacher asks the students which one is longer. Students’ response to the teacher. Teacher tells the students to measure two different things in different length and records the readings. Teacher tells the students to compare the length and tell which one is longer. Teacher will guide the students.
