PERTH AREA CYCLING ROUTES
1 Leave the CRYSTAL PALACE parking lot, go East on Drummond St. Check out the EcoPerth forest - an urban carbon sink.

3 Turn left onto Gore St., which becomes Rideau Ferry Road (County Road #1) to leave town.

2 Turn right onto South St. at the T intersection.
4 Consider a side trip down Wild Life Rd. to the PERTH WILDLIFE RESERVE, a 96 hectare sanctuary. 5 Browse for treasures at PIONEER ANTIQUES.
6 MILLER BROOK FARMS, former home of Big Ben, on the left.
7 Turn right onto Elm Grove Rd. (County Road #21) and follow the signs to Murphy's Point Provincial Park. This road is a winding rolling country road with little traffic, gravel shoulders and rough pavement in places. The view here is typical of the Frontenac Axis - the most southerly extension of the Canadian Shield. 8

SILVER QUEEN MINE and LALLY HOMESTEAD. Two relics of the past. Follow the 2km hike into the Silver Queen mine. Guided tours are also available. Check with the Park for guided tour times.
10 Turn right at the stop sign onto Narrows Lock Rd. (County Road #14). This is a long open stretch with little shade, gravel shoulders and some rough pavement.
11 Stop and turn right onto Scotch Line (County Road #10). The pavement is smooth and traffic is heavier here. 12 Find SCOTCH LINE PRODUCE on the right with a vegetable stand. 13 TREELAND APPLE ORCHARDS on the left. 14 Turn left at the first lights onto Gore St.
15 Turn right onto Basin St. to return to the
CRYSTAL PALACE.
MURPHY'S POINT PROVINCIAL PARK. Consider
stopping for a picnic and a swim (free access for cyclists).There is a park store here. Take care on the park roads and enjoy the shade.
