

Effective planning and scheduling for effective maintenance of testing equipment . Calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to enhance equipment reliability and availability. Conducting need based training programs to develop multi-skilled work force. Liaison with regulatory authorities and for approvals and clearances. Ensured adherence to ISO 9001, 2000 quality standers and supported internal & external quality audits as Management Representative. Handled projects dealing with design and costing for various type of Optical Fiber Cable and mini zip/mxizip for Export viz., Figure 8 cable Successfully developed the infrastructure and secured approval from TEC for Fiber Distribution Management System for Optical fiber cable. Liaison with TEC and DOT for approvals of Ribbon Spicer and Cleaver.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

# Design and Development of various type of Optical Fibre Cables confirming to desired specification as per costumer requirements. # Studying technical specification of various tenders, developing the design of OF cables, preparing technical compliance and raw material costing. # Study of International Specifications related to Raw materials used for the manufacture of Optical Fibre cables & Testing procedure, etc. # Type Testing of the Optical Fibre cables with external agencies, such as; TEC, RDSO, Defense, PGCIL and Private Parties, such as Reliance, Tata Teleservices, etc. # Handling of Optical Test Equipment such as OTDR, Spectral & Geometry Analyzer, Fusion Splicer, CD & PMD measurement test equipment, etc. # Carrying out Infrastructure Assessment of the company. # Analysis of customer compliant with respect to Cable Design and Performance. # Quality Assurance of OFC # Internal Auditor for ISO-9001:2000 Human Resource Development  Conducting need based training programs to develop multi-skilled work force. Liaison with TEC and DOT for approvals. Independently handled the entire operations for CDMA hand set assembling Unit including testing of the sets and dispatch to BSNL. Successfully executed CDMA project (worth Rs.1, 68,000) with in a short span of two months and was awarded cash incentive for the same. Played a key role in installation and maintenance of DG sets, Compressor, Cooling Tower, testing equipment, SMPS, UPS etc.

From July 2000-August 2002 with UM Cables Ltd. Silvassa as Sr Executive QA OFC. Key Tasks Handled  Started from project stage , actively participate in installation of all the machine and Test equipment  Handled testing of Optical Fiber, Optical Fiber cable, Optical fiber cable Accessories and raw materials. From July 1998 to June 2000 with BEOL Rewa MP as QA Engineer (OFC). Key Tasks Handled  Handled testing of Optical Fiber, Optical Fiber cable and cable Accessories. Training Undergone for CDMA testing and Network at Hundai Curitel Korea. Educational Qualification  B.E. (Electronics & Telecom) from Govt Engg. Collage Rewa MP in 1998.
