Ephesians 2:12-13

Restoring Your Spirit of Hope “...remember that at that time you were separate from Christ… without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.” Ephesians 2:12-13 I.

In Christ I Can Always Be Hopeful (Romans 8) 1. Because His ________________ Erases My Guilt. “

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” Romans 8:1a NIV 2. Because His ________________ Breaks Sin’s Grip On Me.

When Things Seem Hopeless I know that there are times in our lives when things seem hopeless. With the way things are with our economy, now may be one of those times. Stock market down, loss of a job or maybe even loss of a home. It can look hopeless. It can be a health issue, or a faltering marriage, problems with a child or a thousand other things, your world is caving in on you...and you keep asking yourself, “Is there any hope?” Let me tell you, there is always hope! Jesus is the Hope! He always has been and always will be! “Nothing is impossible with God,” the Bible says. So don’t get down, discouraged, or depressed. “...If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31. Jesus is our blessed hope. So cheer up and look to a bright future! Pastor Bob

Lord thank you for encouraging us and bringing us through. "Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance, the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith." Hebrews 12:1-2

Symphony of Praise DVD No doubt you’ve wondered about the progress of “Symphony of Praise.” It’s been a moving a target - but moving in a good direction. As the production and editing has progressed, it seems we’ve raised our sights in respect to its potential. This has resulted in more creative ideas and much more editing time. Add to that a couple of unanticipated setbacks, the release is delayed a month or so. We thank you for your patience but believe that it will be well worth the wait. We are looking now at a release in early June. Again, thanks so much for your involvement in “Symphony of Praise.” It will be an ongoing asset to our mission efforts. “...because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:2 NIV 3. Because His ________________ Transforms My Life. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Romans 8:28 NLT 4. Because His ________________ Calms My Fears. “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31b NIV 5. Because His ________________ Supplies My Needs. “He who did not spare his own Son...will he not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:32 NIV 6. Because His ________________ Secures My Future. “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39 NIV II. Our Response “...live and act in a way worthy of those who have been chosen for such wonderful blessings as these.” Ephesians 4:1 LB “...Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have…” I Peter 3:15 NIV
