What's the reproductive system • The reproductive system is a collection of specialized organs glands and hormone that help produce a human being •
Female system • The main functions of the female reproductive system are to produce ova. • The hormone estrogen is to control the development of female sexual characteristics , it is needed for egg cells to develop and to prepare the uterus for pregnancy.

Female reproductive process • The reproduction of eggs begins before a female is born and this egg now enter a process called meiosis which reduces and divides the cells after females reach puberty they have around 400,000 eggs left.

Male system • The main functions are to produce sperm and deliver them to the females reproductive system. • Out of one million sperm usually one can fertilize an egg. • The hormone testosterone stimulates the production of sperm cells and it also controls the development of male sexual characteristics. • •
Sperm production • The reproduction of sperm begins when hormones are stimulated at the pituitary to released FSH and LH. • The testes start releasing testosterone that causes cells to go through meiosis to develop into mature sperm.
