The meeting was called to order by Mayor Knoll at 7:00 p.m.
Agenda 212.2009 Minutes 213.2009
Greve: That the agenda for the June 15, 2009 meeting be accepted as amended. CARRIED. Corbett: That the minutes of the June 1, 2009 regular meeting be adopted. CARRIED.
Clothes Basket Request 214.2009 Greve: That the Clothes Basket be notified that the Town is willing to cut a section of sidewalk in front of their store at 2007 6th Street to allow for a drainage gutter, at their cost; however, the Town is not prepared to pour a new sidewalk where the approach once was, as the cement is still in good condition. CARRIED. Genesis Estates Request 215.2009 Greve: That the Town crew remove the sidewalk on 5th Street from 5th Avenue to the Genesis Estates driveway. CARRIED. May Payroll 216.2009
Hinz: That the payroll for May in the amount of $33,857.23 be accepted. CARRIED.

Page 2 May Bank Reconciliation & Financial Statement 217.2009 Janzen: That Council accept the May bank reconciliation and financial statement as presented. CARRIED. June List of Accounts 218.2009 Helmuth: That Council approve the June list of accounts, cheque numbers 9214 to 9304 in the amount of $185,143.55. CARRIED. Administration Reports 219.2009 Hinz: That the following administration reports be accepted as presented: a) Town Administrator’s Report b) Outside Superintendent’s Report c) Flaman Investigation & Security Agency CARRIED. Transit Bus Repairs 220.2009 Helmuth: That Council approve the transit bus repairs of approximately $4,400, which will include the following: Rear springs, rear shocks, front routers, front and rear brakes, spark plugs, body work. CARRIED. Transit Bus Rates 221.2009 Corbett: That the transit bus rates be set as follows, effective July 1, 2009: One way $4 10 tickets $32 Monthly pass $60 In-town participants attending Valley Action $120 CARRIED. Committee Reports 222.2009 Greve: That the following committee report be accepted as presented: a) Transit Committee, June 3 CARRIED.

Sask. Dutch Elm Disease Program 223.2009 Greve: That the Town of Rosthern continue participation in the Sask. Dutch Elm Disease cost-share program for April 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010. CARRIED. SAFC – Report 224.2009 Corbett: That Council accept the Sask. Association of Fire Chiefs report as presented. CARRIED. Al Neufeld Request – Cement Wall 225.2009 Greve: That Al Neufeld be authorized to put up a concrete fence on his property at 1003 5th Street which would run north to south along the alley. CARRIED. Brett Knoll Request 226.2009 Greve: That Council is not willing to sell Lot 1, Block 42, Plan 69PA15088 located at 7000 7th Street in order to maintain access to property located behind 7th Street for future development. CARRIED. Knoll
